James "Jim" Arthur Nobles, 75 passed away In Amarillo, Texas on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Viewing will be on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 (9:00a.m.- 9:00pm.), Thursday, August 31, (9:00a.m.- 9:00p.m.) at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. Funeral services will be in Gruver, at the Golden Age Center, 2:00p.m. on Friday, September 1,2023 with Billy Rammage officiating. Arrangements are under the directions of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Jim was born in Guymon, Oklahoma on July 24, 1948, to Bobby Lawrence Nobles and Ona Ozzelee "Ben" Coble Nobles.

Jim graduated from Gruver High School in 1966.

Jim and Arbeta were married on September 7, 1973. He loved dove hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, and cowboying was his passion. Jim worked for Bivins Ranch, LX Ranch, Perkins Prothro Ranch, numerous feedlots and day work for various ranchers.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Ozzlee Nobles, wife Arbeta Nobles, grandson Nick Nobles, son-in-law Richard Conner and Diana Horn.

Jim is survived by his sister Melinda Mc Cullough and husband Benny of Gruver, Texas, son James Nobles and wife Crystal of Arnett, Oklahoma, son Casey Nobles and wife Angela of Fritch, Texas, daughter Michelle Conner of Amarillo, Texas, daughter Amanda "Mandy" Webb and husband Chad of Lexington, Oklahoma.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren Wyatt, Phyllis, Jolie, Jesse, Chrisy, ChyAnn, Billy, Isaac, Tymberlie, DJ, Seth, Cory and 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jim will be dearly missed by all. Until we meet again rest in peace. Love you!!
