Help Keep Local News — and Our Community’s Voice — Strong

by Suzanne Bellsnyder, Editor

For over a century, the Hansford Reporter-Statesman and Sherman County Gazette have told the stories of our communities — from Friday night lights and Stock Show champions to city meetings and everyday people who make this place home.

That’s the heart of local journalism. But keeping that heartbeat strong takes commitment — and it takes you.

This year, we launched The Hansford Journalism Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting and growing community journalism in Hansford and Sherman counties. Your support helps us:
• Keep local news free and accessible.
 • Provide scholarships and mentoring for future writers, photographers, and editors.
 • Invest in technology and training to help small-town papers thrive.
We’re proud to take part in The Panhandle Gives (November 24 – December 2). Every dollar donated during this campaign is amplified through the regional Amplification Fund — multiplying your impact right here at home.
Thank you for believing in the power of local news — and for helping ensure our small-town stories keep being told.
With gratitude,
 Suzanne Bellsnyder
