In Loving Memory of Cynthia DeArmond, Spearman

Cynthia Lee Hendrix DeArmond of Spearman passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 10:00 a.m.at the Holt Cemetery with Rev. John Scott officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Cynthia was born on January 22, 1948 in Perryton Texas to Joye ”Jack” Hendrix and Rosalee Reed. Cynthia and Billy DeArmond were married on August 23,1969 in Hardesty, Oklahoma. To this union they were blessed with a son (Clint) and daughter (Shanna). She loved teaching school but being a wife to a rancher and cowboy was her cup of tea. She loved the outdoors. She was a very classy dresser and loved choosing her wardrobe. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Cynthia will be missed by her many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy (2022), and son-in-law, Jimmy Milo Kenney.

She is survived by her son, Clint DeArmond, daughter, Shanna Kenney and fianc’ee, Taff Tyler, both of Spearman. Grandchildren, Cooper DeArmond, Hunter Kenney and significant other Samantha Meek, granddaughter, Halston and husband, Jake Abercrombie, Barrett Kenney and wife Belen, great-grandson, Maverick Kenney, sisters, Rene Avents and Shanna Medeiros.

The Family suggests memorials to Spearman Church of Christ or Hansford County Stock Show.
